Care Instructions
How to care for your SagePause sleepwear
The SagePause kimono pajama set, solo sleep shirt, and pillowcases are made from soft, breathable cotton. With basic care, they'll stay soft and shape-true through years of nights.
Washing
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
- Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — they coat the cotton fibers and reduce breathability over time.
- Wash with similar colors. Sage and clay garments may release a small amount of color in the first wash or two.
- Turn inside-out for a slightly longer-lasting color.
Drying
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Air-drying preserves the fabric longest.
- Avoid high heat — it shrinks cotton and breaks down the soft hand-feel.
- Pull seams flat while damp to minimize wrinkles.
Ironing (if needed)
- Iron on low to medium heat while the fabric is slightly damp.
- Iron inside-out to protect the surface texture.
Storage
- Fold and store in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid hanging long-term — the cotton can stretch at the shoulders.
Eye mask care
- Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent.
- Air dry only — do not put in the dryer.
What to expect
Cotton softens with use. The first few washes may feel slightly stiffer; by the third or fourth wash, the fabric will be at its softest.
